Since the second week of February 2011, the HGK is evaluating an Euro 4000 locomotive from Vossloh in its everyday practice. For ten weeks the 92 87 0004 005-1 D-VE designated machine (we call it 4005 from here) is used for various HGK freight trains. The 4005 is the fifth normal gauge Euro locomotive, originating from Angel Trains order from 2008, that is looking for a new owner. No. 4001-4004 were delivered to Beacon Rail leasing last year, and we still expect a sixth machine to arrive soon... Maybe the HGK and the Euro 4000 are a good combination, that will be clear in May 2011. - IW/PS/AB/KAR
