Seven Akiem BB75000 locomotives have been renumbered into the BB75300 number series for future use with SNCF Intercités on night trains, being: 75320, 75323, 75326, 75328, 75329, 75330 and 75333. This means there are still three locos to go.

It has now become clear that SNCF Intercités intends to use the Prima diesels from December 2015. In the meantime, the locos are leased out to various freight operators, such as VFLI, Europorte France and CFL Cargo France.
