Cummins has shipped the first QSK95 diesel engine for a Charger diesel locomotive to the Siemens plant in Sacramento, California. The locomotive in which the 16-cylinder engine will be fitted is part of a joint order for more than 30 locomotives for the Departments of Transportation of Illinois, California, Michigan, Missouri and Washington.
