The black 8653-01 has received golden Beacon Rail Leasing logos recently, as can be seen here: link. Also, the Vehicle Keeper Marking has been changed to D-BRLL.
In July, Beacon Rail Leasing announced the acquisition of 27 diesel locomotives (10x Siemens EuroRunner and 17x EMD Class 66) from MRCE. On July 16, ownership of a first batch of 10 locomotives was transferred to Beacon Rail, but 8653-01 was not part of this initial batch. So, it appears that ownership of the remaining 17 locomotives is now gradually being transferred to Beacon Rail as well.
