Trainpoint Norway owns five EffiShunter 1000 locomotives, which are all on hire to Railcare: 744 144-7, 157-9, 158-7, 159-5 and 160-3. Now, an order four another 5 locomotives has been made public, with deliveries already underway. Locos 744 193-4 and 194-2 have already been seen.

Another two DM Class locos have arrived in New Zealand. Locos DM8035 and DM8064 were unloaded in the port of Lyttelton over the weekend, bringing the number of locos to four. Stadler is currently building a total of 66 locos for KiwiRail of New Zealand.

Hupac Intermodal has placed an order for two EffiShunter 1000 locomotives with CZ LOKO. Delivery of the locos is planned for the first half of 2026. The locos are planned to be used at the Hupac terminal in Busto Arsizio.

CZ LOKO has announced another order for its EffiShunter 1000 type. This time it is Elektrizace Praha a.s. that ordered it. In fact, it has ordered as much as seven locomotives, which are destined to haul engineering trains in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. All locos will be delivered with ETCS on board.

Due to the commissioning of ETCS on Czech railway lines, many operators that run trains in the Czech Republic have decided to buy locos that are either prepared for ETCS installation or that have ETCS already installed. The same applies to DB Cargo Czechia, which took delivery of an EffiShunter 1000 locomotive from CZ Loko. The loco carries service number 744 191-8 and was presented to the public at the Rail Business Days in Ostrava.

CZ LOKO has completed the second EffiShunter 1000 locomotive for Subterra in the form of loco 744 152-0. The loco carries the same bright yellow guise as sister locomotive 744 150-4.
