Per 19.05.2004, the second batch of OBB 2016 locomotives (2016 071-100) have their approval for Austria, so now they can go into service! Completed until now were: 2016 071 and 073-087. 2016 072 has been rented out to PRESS and is still in Germany. Soon the rest of the locos will follow, except for 2016 090, which will be delivered to the StLB as 2016 901. The gap that 2016 090 leaves behind will be filled by another loco later this year.
