Currently, the EURO 4000 fleet of rail operator Europorte France is experiencing some changes. Not only are four brand new locomotives added to the fleet this summer (4031-4034), also a sale-and-leaseback agreement has been signed for four other locomotives on August 13.

Units 4009-4012 have been sold by the French operator to leasing company Beacon Rail, which subsequently leases them back. It is the second sale-and-leaseback agreement for the two companies. In August 2013, locomotives 4013-4016 also had their ownership transferred to Beacon Rail.
