Because Captrain CB 1000 is experiencing technical issues, Captrain 6602 will replace it for the time being.
The images show both locos at the Westfalenhütte in Dortmund on February 8. That day 6602 went to Emmerich, before heading towards Sittard. Together with 189 202 it will be used to run the chemical trains between the DSM in Geleen [NL] and Lauterbourg [F]. On the parts of the journey without overhead wiring 6602 will provide traction and on electrified sections 189 202 will pull the train. Remarkable is that on February 9 also 6602 experienced some slight troubles. The loco stranded only shortly before the border station of Emmerich and was finally pushed into the station by BLS 186 103, as was witnessed by Martijn Schokker.
