A small update on the diesel locomotives Pesa will build for PKP IC from the European Rolling Stock Forum 2014. The Pesa designation for these machines will be 111Db. The ten locomotives will have a power output of 2.4MW and 275 kN tractive effort. Top speed will be 160 kph and they'll weigh 84 t. The first locomotive will be available for dynamic trials next month (!), in April.
