We don't see much of this locomotive, but today we received proof that it is still going strong. This image by Julian Mandeville shows the TRAINKOS 2640 010 with a Mercia Charters tour at Priluzje on Saturday 19th September.
This JT38CW-DC locomotive is the sole of its kind and is not completely new. In fact, the locomotive is a former GM G16CW, rebuilt by TˇV Gredelj in 2010. The locomotive has only inherited the Westinghouse L26 breaking system and the bogies with traction motors as requested by the Kosovo Railways.
