It has been indicated that HHPI 59003, the only Class 59 locomotive on the European mainland, will return to the United Kingdom. First reports indicated that it was GB Railfreight who would take on the locomotive, but this seems to be incorrect. It has now been indicated that either GB Railfreight or Direct Rail Services (DRS) will take on the locomotive.
